A message from the Commissioner to the employees of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police,

The RCMP mission, vision and values, as presented in this document, demonstrate the collective vision of our future direction as Canada's national police service. Where we go from here - and how we plan to get there - will involve all employees at every level of the organization. Together we must apply these principles in carrying out our daily duties, as a testimony of our continued commitment to employees and communities across the country.

On behalf of Senior Management, I would like to express our firm commitment to moving ahead with the service-oriented philosophy of the Shared Leadership Vision process.
